Shakira will be the official artist of the ongoing Copa América 2024 which just reached final stage at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Conmebol announced, telling spectators to prepare for "a show that will make the continent vibrate."
The final of the Copa América 2024 will be played on Sunday, July 14 at 8 p.m. Miami time at Hard Rock Stadium, located in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Depending on where you are, the game time may vary, for example;
Buenos Aires, Argentina: 9 p.m.
Bogotá, Colombia: 7 p.m.
Mexico City, Mexico: 6 p.m.
Madrid, Spain: 2 a.m. (Monday, July 15)
The stadium in which the Colombian will perform has capacity for 65,300 people and is home to various sporting events, including the Miami F1 Grand Prix and the Miami Open tennis tournament.
Her performance will arrive months before the start of "Women No Longer Cry World Tour", the tour that will take her to multiple cities in the United States in November and December.
The spectacle at the opening of the Copa América was also in Colombian hands: the singer Feid, also known as Ferxxo, was in charge of opening the tournament on June 20 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Colombia and Argentina are playing this Sunday's final game.
The Tricolor made its way to the final after its victory against Uruguay in the semifinals, thanks to a goal in the 39th minute of the first half by Jefferson Lerma and an assist from James Rodríguez.
Shakira celebrated her national team's achievement with a brief message on X, before her Twitter, where she wrote: "That's Colombia! We have a great team! See you this Sunday at the Copa América final."
