Former Manchester United striker, Teddy Sheringham, has given his verdict on Sunday’s Manchester Derby.
He said Manchester derbies tend to be close contests but that the current United team lacks the quality and way of playing compared to their City rivals.
Despite conceding that anything can happen in a Manchester derby, Sheringham predicted that City would wear United down.
The former England international believes that the encounter could turn out to be a drubbing for United.
“At the moment, it doesn’t look like that to me and going into the game this weekend against Man City, I think sometimes when you’re playing in a Manchester derby it could go either way,” Sheringham told 365Sports.
“But when you are playing against City and they dictate play for so long, I think they are gonna wear Man United down, it could be a drubbing the way I see it.”
