Asake Beats South Africa’s Tyla, BurnaBoy, Others To Win Mobo Best African Music Act Award


Asake emerged victorious in the just concluded 26th MOBO award which was held at the utility arena, Sheffield, UK.

Nigerian music sensation, Ahmed Ololade aka Asake has won the MOBO award for best African music act.

He defeated superstars Wizkid, Burna Boy and South African budding singer, Tyla to win the award.

The 26th MOBO award was held at the utility arena, Sheffield, UK.

The ‘Lonely At the Top’ crooner came out on top of Africa’s finest musicians, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema , Uncle waffles and Tyla to win his first MOBO award, cementing his place as one Africa’s shining stars.

Taking to their Instagram page, the organisers of the award wrote:
