Chris Brown has unveiled the official video for his new single, “Sensational,” featuring Davido and Lojay.
The video was directed by Child and features Brown and his troupe showing off slick choreography in different settings. Davido and Lojay also appear in the video.
Produced by DJ Hardwerk, “Sensational” is the second single from Brown’s upcoming 11th album, 11:11. The project is slated to drop Nov. 11 on Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records.
“Sensational” is the follow-up to the album’s lead single, “Summer Too Hot.” The blazing track, co-produced by Roccstar and Gabriel Roland, peaked at No. 1 at rhythmic radio in September.
Originally, Brown stated 11:11 would consist of 11 tracks. In May, Brown shared in a since-deleted Instagram post, “Y’all ready for some new music? Been locked in the studio. Ultra instinct activated. I’ll let y’all know the album title soon. NO MORE 20 to 40 song albums. JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MAGIC TO DIGEST.”
He followed up in August with a caption stating, “I see Some of my die hard fans wanting me to add more songs for the new project and I love y’all for that. But, I just feel I need you all to really miss me and take my art seriously. IM JUST focused on giving y’all the best to digest. 11:11 make a wish.”
In a recent Instagram post, Brown confirmed 11:11 will consist of 22 tracks in total. The first 11 songs will drop at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, followed by 11 more songs at 11 p.m.
“11/11 11th album 11am (11songs) 11pm (11songs),” he wrote.
Brown’s forthcoming album will follow his 2022 LP, Breezy. The Grammy-nominated album included features from Anderson .Paak, Bryson Tiller, Ella Mai, H.E.R., Lil Wayne, Blxst, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign and others.
Nigerian artist Wizkid appeared on the track “Call Me Every Day,” which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 500,000 equivalent units.
The melodic tune scored Brown and Wizkid a win for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) at the 54th NAACP Image Awards, which aired in February.
Brown supported Breezy on his One of Them Ones Tour with rapper Lil Baby.
Earlier this year, he launched his Under the Influence Tour. The tour after his 2019 track that became a top 15 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year after seeing a resurgence from TikTok videos. Due to overwhelming demand, Brown extended the tour.
