Publiseer Partners With Repro Books To Expand Its Distribution To New Markets

Starting from the 24th of August, Publiseer will be adding Repro Books to its book distribution channel. The digital distribution company has since 2021 been constantly expanding its content distribution to new markets, starting from Europe, and now to the South East Asian market. Repro Books is Publiseer's newest addition to cater to its significant English content market.

"We've got great news for our authors. As part of our continued commitment to helping the books of our authors reach an even wider audience, we have added Repro Books to our increasingly growing list of bookstores," says Chidi Nwaogu, Co-founder at Publiseer.

"Repro Books is one of India's leading names in book publishing, which means that our authors have an additional potential audience of nearly two billion readers."

"At Publiseer, we understand the importance of book distribution to our independent authors and publishers. This is why we have been expanding our distribution channel since 2021 to increase the profits of our creators.

We believe that the more partners we distribute to, the better their chances to generate more revenue and thus more profit," says Dapo Ogundipe, Head of Content Review and Distribution. "Our team will continuously work to expand our distribution network in the coming months."

Repro Books is a renowned Indian publishing company with excellent content solutions and publishing services. Publiseer is collaborating with Repro to build on our solution to address the challenges of modern content distribution.

"We chose Repro Books because India is one of the most prominent English content markets," Chidi says. In 2019, the Indian publishing industry was valued at over 6 billion US dollars, and it has substantially grown ever since.

Forecasts show that the Indian publishing market will continuously grow to nearly 10 billion US dollars in value by 2024. "This will certainly pave the way for new opportunities for our independent authors and published across the eight African countries we serve," Dapo says.

Backed by Institut Français, the Goethe Institut, the Jack Ma Foundation, and Alibaba Foundation, Publiseer is a digital platform that helps independent and underserved African writers, musicians, filmmakers, and video game developers, typically those from low-income and disadvantaged communities, to earn above the minimum wage and live above the poverty line from the sales of their creative works.

Publiseer achieves this by helping them distribute, protect, promote, and monetize their creative works worldwide, at no charge, with just a single click, and the digital platform shares in the revenue it generates for these creators, which in turn goes back into helping more creators in Africa.

When Publiseer accepts a creator on its platform, Publiseer fine-tunes their creative works to industry standard, so that the creator stands a chance to compete on a global scale. Then Publiseer distributes it to its over 400 well-established partner stores so that the creator is easily discovered.

Publiseer also protects this content from illegal distribution and intellectual property theft, so the creator truly owns the content. The creators can monitor their sales performance on Publiseer’s centralized dashboard, and receive their royalties via African-tailored payment methods, such as into a local bank account or through a mobile money wallet.
