Former Arsenal ace, Ian Wright has told his former club that they must find a way of taking points off Manchester City if they are serious about winning the Premier League title this season.
Arsenal continued their solid start to the new season by beating Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Leandro Torssard’s second half strike gave the Gunners all three points against Everton.
“Those three games are big but I would not say the PSV one so much because it is a Champions League game, it is the first one we are not really into the meat and bones of it yet,” Wright told Premier League Productions.
“It is a big game for Arsenal but then obviously Tottenham and their form which is very very good, so the derby is going to be unbelievable.
“Then it is Manchester City who I believe if Arsenal have got serious intentions of winning the league they are going to have to beat them at least once.
“They are going to have to beat them and beat the teams around them and then hope the other teams are able to cause Man City problems as well because if they don’t beat them at least once it’s going to be very, very difficult to do it.”
