COVID-19: Nigeria Still Recording Losses Despite Vaccination




COVID-19 doesn’t seem to be slowing down much as Nigeria is still witnessing deaths and infection cases across different parts of the nation even though vaccination is ongoing.


The federal capital territory, FCT, and fourteen other States have already recorded six coronavirus-death-related cases.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, about two hundred and twenty-six new cases have been confirmed across the same number of States.

NCDC revealed this data through its website on Friday, 15. 2021, further hinting that the total number of infected persons has risen to two hundred and eight thousand, six hundred and thirty [208,630].

Fortunately, the new figures for the record of the present cases [226] show a meagre drop from the previous record, which stood at two hundred and fifty-one [251].

Today, the coronavirus data Samples collected range from 3,142,971, while the Confirmed Cases are 208,630, Active Cases are 9,537, Discharged Cases are 196,326, and Deaths far are 2,767.
